Terms of Use
Last updated: June 11, 2026. View change history.
These terms govern your use of clawdemy.org, the free AI literacy site published by RBJ Global LLC.
What Clawdemy is
Section titled “What Clawdemy is”Clawdemy is a free, openly licensed AI literacy curriculum. Lessons are written by humans, reviewed by humans, and narrated by AI. The goal is a public good, not a moat. There is no paywall, no signup, no premium tier.
Use of the curriculum
Section titled “Use of the curriculum”Original Clawdemy curriculum content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). You may share, adapt, translate, and remix this content for non-commercial purposes, as long as you give appropriate credit and license your adaptations under the same terms. The full license text is at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/.
Commercial use of Clawdemy content requires a commercial license. The detailed policy on what counts as non-commercial use, what requires permission, and how to request a commercial license is at /legal/licensing. Inquiries route to licensing@clawdemy.org.
Audio narration (the AI-generated MP3 files on every lesson page and the Clawdemy Lessons podcast feed) is separately licensed as All Rights Reserved by RBJ Global LLC. Listening through legitimate podcast platforms is permitted; re-hosting, restreaming, or repackaging the audio requires permission. Details on the licensing page.
Code samples embedded inside lessons (anything in a code fence marked with a code language) remain licensed under the MIT License, unchanged from prior versions of these terms.
Some lessons adapt material from third-party sources released under their own licenses (for example, Stanford CME 295 lecture notes are CC BY-NC 4.0). Where the upstream license imposes additional restrictions, those restrictions carry through to the adapted lesson. Each lesson page indicates the applicable license. When in doubt, follow the lesson-page indicator, not this overview.
The Clawdemy name, logo, and visual identity are not part of the CC BY-NC-SA license and remain trademarks of RBJ Global LLC. If you fork the curriculum, please rename your fork.
When attributing a Clawdemy lesson, please use the following format or its equivalent:
“Adapted from Clawdemy (https://clawdemy.org), licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.”
If you have adapted a specific lesson, name it: “Adapted from ‘Lesson Title’ on Clawdemy (lesson URL), licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.” Translations and remixes must be released under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 or a CC-approved compatible license per the CC compatibility chart.
No warranty on educational content
Section titled “No warranty on educational content”Clawdemy is provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make a sincere effort to keep lessons accurate and up to date with how the field is moving, but AI moves fast and any specific factual claim may become outdated. Lessons are educational material, not professional advice (technical, legal, financial, or otherwise).
Acceptable use
Section titled “Acceptable use”You may read, share links to, fork, adapt, and reference Clawdemy freely for non-commercial purposes. Because the curriculum is openly licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, you may also clone the GitHub repository at github.com/clawless-io/clawdemy rather than scraping the site, and we encourage that route for any bulk non-commercial use. Bulk commercial use (corporate training programs, paid courses, employee learning platforms, and similar) requires a commercial license per the licensing page.
Please do not access this site through automated means at a rate that disrupts service for other learners or that bypasses Cloudflare’s rate limits. Reasonable, well-behaved crawlers (search engines, archival projects) are welcome. Aggressive scraping, brute-force probing, vulnerability scanning, and attempts to circumvent the star-counter logic are not.
If you discover an actual security issue, email the address in the Contact section. Please give us a reasonable window to remediate before any public disclosure.
Audio narration
Section titled “Audio narration”Lessons are narrated by AI. We disclose this on the site so you can choose how much to rely on inflection, emphasis, or pronunciation. Text remains the source of truth; audio is a convenience layer for people who prefer to listen.
Third-party links
Section titled “Third-party links”Clawdemy links to external sites for further reading and source material (Stanford CME 295, Hugging Face, OpenAI documentation, Anthropic research, GitHub repositories, and others). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those external sites.
Copyright and takedown
Section titled “Copyright and takedown”Clawdemy adapts public educational material under the relevant Creative Commons licenses and links to third-party sources for further reading. If you are a rights-holder and believe material on Clawdemy infringes your copyright, please send a notice to the email address in the Contact section. Include: identification of the work, the URL of the allegedly infringing page on clawdemy.org, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the rights-holder or authorized to act on the rights-holder’s behalf. We will review and respond promptly. We may forward complete notices to the affected contributor and may publish redacted versions in a transparency log.
Limitation of liability
Section titled “Limitation of liability”To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, RBJ Global LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or relating to your use of this educational site or the curriculum it publishes, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Eligibility
Section titled “Eligibility”Clawdemy is open to readers of any age. By using the site, you represent that you can lawfully agree to these terms in the jurisdiction where you live, or that a parent or guardian agrees on your behalf. Because Clawdemy does not require an account or collect personal information from readers, no separate parental consent mechanism is required.
Severability
Section titled “Severability”If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Entire agreement
Section titled “Entire agreement”These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and RBJ Global LLC regarding your use of clawdemy.org.
Governing law and venue
Section titled “Governing law and venue”These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Changelog
Section titled “Changelog”- 2026-06-11: Material license change. Original Clawdemy curriculum content relicensed from CC BY-SA 4.0 to CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (the NonCommercial clause is the substantive addition). Audio narration newly marked as All Rights Reserved (previously implicit). Code samples remain MIT, unchanged. Recommended attribution string updated to reflect the new license URL and name. info@clawdemy.org.
